Sharon Ooja has announced the birth of her first child with her husband, Ugo Nwoke.
The 35-year-old Nollywood actress revealed on Instagram that the couple welcomed a baby boy, surprising many fans after keeping the pregnancy private for several months.
The announcement was accompanied by maternity photographs featuring the actress and her husband during a pregnancy photoshoot.
In her post, Sharon described motherhood as the fulfilment of a lifelong dream, saying pregnancy gave her a deeper understanding of unconditional love and faith.
“I have always dreamt of being a mummy and now I am. You can officially call me mama win,” she wrote, adding that becoming a mother marked “the most beautiful years” of her life.
The actress also disclosed that her son’s initials are “W.I.N” and said the arrival of the baby had transformed their lives.
She used the opportunity to appreciate her husband for his support throughout the pregnancy, praising him for his emotional and spiritual encouragement during the past nine months.
Sharon further thanked her family and close friends for helping her maintain privacy throughout the pregnancy.
Following the announcement, fans, colleagues, and celebrities flooded her social media pages with congratulatory messages and prayers for the newborn.
The birth of their son comes less than two years after Sharon and Ugo Nwoke held their widely publicised traditional and white wedding ceremonies in Abuja and Lagos in 2024.
The couple’s wedding attracted widespread attention on social media and became one of the most talked-about celebrity unions of the year.
