The United Bank for Africa (UBA) has announced that the next edition of its Business Series will focus on the theme of building businesses that can survive and thrive across generations.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the bank revealed that the event, titled ‘Built to Last: Building Generational Business,’ is scheduled to take place on Thursday at UBA House in Marina, Lagos, with virtual participation also available.
This edition of the Business Series aims to spotlight businesses that have successfully weathered the test of time, adapting to political and economic changes while maintaining their relevance across generations.
UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, Shamsideen Fashola, highlighted the significance of this session, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He emphasized that the event will offer invaluable insights from seasoned entrepreneurs who have built and sustained businesses over the decades.
“This edition provides a platform for SMEs to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who have successfully built and sustained businesses through the decades. Their stories and strategies will be invaluable for any business owner looking to create a lasting enterprise,” Fashola stated.
Additionally, UBA’s Group Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, underscored the bank’s commitment to supporting businesses, particularly in the current financial landscape.
