Access ARM Pensions to Meet Customers Nationwide Post-Merger

By Ayomide Otitoju

Access ARM Pensions Limited has announced plans to meet with customers across Nigeria to address concerns regarding the recently approved merger between Access Pensions and ARM Pensions. The Managing Director and CEO of Access Pensions Limited, Dave Uduanu, reassured clients during a customer engagement event in Abuja on Tuesday, emphasizing the safety of their pension funds and the firm’s continued commitment to delivering top-tier services.

Speaking on the merger, Uduanu explained that the consolidation has resulted in a stronger entity, poised to provide enhanced pension management services nationwide. “Your funds are safe with us, but beyond that, we are committed to elevating the quality of service you receive,” he affirmed, highlighting the company’s focus on client satisfaction.

Uduanu noted that the merger integrates customers into a comprehensive financial ecosystem, including a payment platform, digital lending, insurance brokerage, and banking services, backed by a N27 trillion balance sheet. This, he emphasized, offers clients both security and economic stability.

He also detailed the firm’s robust risk management framework and governance structures, which are closely regulated to safeguard the N3 trillion in assets under management. “Our governance and oversight mechanisms are stronger than ever. As we grow, regulatory scrutiny will intensify, providing another layer of assurance for our clients,” Uduanu added.

Last week, the National Pension Commission approved the merger between ARM Pension Managers Limited and Access Pensions Limited, further cementing Access ARM Pensions’ position in the market. Uduanu stated that the merger allows the company to better serve clients’ evolving needs and outlined plans for client engagements in key cities such as Lagos, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna.

“There are tangible benefits to being part of the Access Holdings ecosystem. When we hear our customers’ needs, we take them back to the corporation to explore how best to serve them,” Uduanu said, highlighting the advantages of being part of the broader Access Holdings network.

He reiterated the company’s ambition to lead Nigeria’s pension market, noting that the merger accelerates this goal. “Starting from scratch would have taken decades, but this move positions us as a formidable challenger in the sector.”

Clients at the event expressed their support for the merger and encouraged Access ARM Pensions to continue delivering strong investment returns and customer-focused services.
