Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has officially received her grand prize of ₦150 million, comprising ₦80 million in cash and a brand-new Innoson SUV, following her triumph in the “10/10” edition of the popular reality TV show.
The prize presentation ceremony, held on Tuesday in Lagos, was attended by representatives of Multichoice Nigeria, brand sponsors, and the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who congratulated the 23-year-old actress and fashion designer from Oyo State.
Imisi, dressed in a vibrant red outfit, beamed with joy as she posed beside her white SUV, wrapped in celebratory ribbons, while receiving her symbolic cheque — a moment that quickly dominated social media trends under the hashtags #ImisiTheQueen and #BBNaija10Winner.
Over the 72-day competition, Imisi outperformed 28 contestants, navigating alliances, emotional highs, and intense challenges to win the hearts of millions of viewers across Africa. She secured 42.8% of the total votes, ahead of Dede (15.94%) and Koyin (15.23%), while others, including Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo, trailed behind.
Her authenticity, emotional intelligence, and calm demeanor under pressure made her one of the season’s most relatable and admired contestants. Fans flooded social media with congratulatory messages, describing her as one of the most deserving winners in the show’s history — though some debates lingered over claims of a “pity vote” strategy.
Beyond the celebrations, the finale also brought emotional reunions among evicted housemates. A viral clip showed Isabella Georgewill reuniting with her young son, Jason, in a heartfelt embrace that melted hearts online.
Other housemates, including Dede, Kaybobo, Thelma, Mensan, Rooboy, Koyin, and Gigi Jasmine, joined a mini reunion at the BBN house and Multichoice studio to mark the end of what many described as a life-changing journey.
