Portugal football star Cristiano Ronaldo has married his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez, according to representatives of the couple.
Ronaldo, 41, announced the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photograph of the couple’s hands showing their wedding rings alongside the caption, “C ❤️ G”.
The ceremony was held on Tuesday in the Portuguese coastal resort of Cascais, near Lisbon, according to the Brunswick Group, which manages Ronaldo’s public relations.
The couple’s five children attended what representatives described as a private and intimate ceremony.
The marriage came exactly one year after Rodriguez, 32, announced their engagement on Instagram.
Ronaldo, who represented Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus forward has won the Ballon d’Or five times, recognising him as the world’s best player.
