The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has praised Dangote Group for its role in driving industrial transformation and economic growth during the 2025 Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) Dangote Group Special Day.
Addressing attendees, LCCI President Mr. Gabriel Idahosa highlighted the Group’s resilience and strategic foresight, noting that its sustained operations have safeguarded jobs, supported local supply chains, and bolstered confidence in Nigeria’s economy.
“The Dangote Group stands as a beacon of industrial excellence and innovation,” Idahosa said. “Its investments, particularly in critical sectors like the Dangote Refinery, fertilizers, cement, and essential goods, demonstrate a commitment to national development and economic stability.”
The event underscored the importance of public-private collaboration, strategic investment in human capital and technology, and policies that enhance Nigeria’s industrial competitiveness. Idahosa called on participants to leverage the platform to explore trade opportunities, deepen local content, and drive inclusive industrial growth.
