Promasidor Nigeria has commemorated International Workers’ Day 2026 by recognising the contributions of its workforce, describing employees as central to the company’s growth and sustained success.
In a statement, the fast-moving consumer goods company reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a workplace environment where employees are supported, valued, and empowered to grow.
The celebration, which brought together staff, retirees, and their families, featured recognition for long-serving employees with between 10 and 25 years of service, as well as honours for retirees for their contributions to the organisation.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer, François Gillet, commended employees for their dedication and resilience, noting that their efforts have been instrumental to the company’s achievements.
He emphasised the need for organisations to prioritise employee wellbeing and professional development in a rapidly evolving work environment, adding that Promasidor Nigeria remains focused on building a culture of respect, empowerment, and opportunity.
The company stated that its people-first approach continues to drive its operations, alongside a commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and long-term impact.
Promasidor Nigeria also highlighted its investment in local capacity development, citing the Ikun Dairy Farm in Ekiti State as a key initiative supporting the dairy value chain, job creation, and community development.
Its product portfolio, including Cowbell Milk, Loya Milk, Onga, Miksi, Twisco, and Top Tea, continues to serve consumers nationwide, reinforcing its position in Nigeria’s consumer goods sector.
