The 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) is set to host one of its most glamorous moments yet, as the Red Carpet takes centre stage ahead of the main awards ceremony on Sunday, January 11, 2026. The event will run from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM (WAT) at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, shortly before the awards ceremony begins at 7 PM.

Nigerian influencer, actor, director, and media personality Enioluwa Adeoluwa, popularly known as Eni, will co-host the Red Carpet alongside Kenyan actress Claudia Naisabwa. The duo is expected to bring charisma, energy, and pan-African flair as they welcome Africa’s top music stars and celebrities.

The fashion spotlight will be amplified by style expert Tosyn of Style Infidel, who will provide sharp commentary on the best-dressed attendees and headline-making outfits. He will be joined by Ariane Celeste Moua, delivering insightful and entertaining reviews of the stars’ fashion choices.

Victoria Nkong, AFRIMA Associate Producer, said the Red Carpet reflects the awards’ vision of blending music, fashion, and African excellence on a global stage. “The AFRIMA Red Carpet has grown into a major entertainment moment. With Eni, Claudia, Tosyn, and Ariane, viewers across the world should expect colour, class, and unforgettable moments,” she said, adding that it provides African artists and designers an opportunity to showcase creativity and identity to a global audience.

The week-long AFRIMA festival, running from January 7 to 11, 2026, kicked off with a Welcome Soiree hosted by the British High Commission in Nigeria. Activities continued on Thursday, January 8, with the Africa Music Business Summit, where industry leaders explored the business and future of African music. On Friday, January 9, fans were entertained at the AFRIMA Music Village at Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, featuring live performances from over 25 top African artistes and DJs.

The celebration will culminate on Sunday, January 11, with the Main Awards Ceremony, which will be broadcast live to audiences in more than 84 countries worldwide.
