The third week of Big Brother Naija Season 10, tagged “10/10”, delivered a whirlwind of drama, heated confrontations, surprise exits, and game-altering immunity twists, intensifying the competition in the aftermath of the second eviction.
From the sudden exits of Danboski and Ibifubara to Sabrina’s unexpected medical withdrawal, the week combined heartbreak with high-stakes survival. Punishments were meted out, alliances tested, and relationships strained under the pressure of strategy and emotion.
Clashes and Disciplinary Actions
Tensions boiled over on Monday when Faith hid the communal lighter in protest over cigarette rationing, sparking a heated altercation with Kuture. The confrontation nearly turned violent, drawing in Bright Morgan, who shoved Faith before being restrained. Big Brother swiftly sanctioned the offenders, issuing Morgan two strikes and placing Kuture on a final warning for “malicious intent.”
Sultana also received a one-week alcohol ban after an incident involving fellow housemate Dede, while Big Brother warned that misconduct linked to intoxication would not be tolerated.
Romantic Entanglements and Feuds
Romance and rivalry took centre stage as Gigi Jasmine confronted Sultana over her late-night closeness with Victory, while Victory’s choice of Joanna as Head of House companion added fuel to the tension. During a no-holds-barred Q&A session, Victory bluntly declared Gigi was not his “spec,” prompting further drama in the house.
The Thelma–Isabella feud reignited, with their exchanges escalating into insults that quickly trended outside the house. Isabella also clashed with Otega over party food, while Doris stormed out of a sponsored task in frustration over scoring.
Shifts in the Game
Midweek, Biggie’s Circus Extravaganza offered comic relief, but by the weekend, the live eviction show turned sombre. Danboski and Ibifubara were evicted after falling short in public votes, while Sabrina exited for medical reasons, reducing the housemates by three in just two days.
Tracy, newly crowned Head of House, exercised her save-and-replace power to grant Kuture immunity. Rooboy retained his Week 2 immunity as “Most Influential Player,” and Otega secured safety with a hidden immunity card, shaking up eviction dynamics.
Looking Ahead
With 22 contestants remaining, Week Four promises more volatility. Ongoing feuds, unresolved romantic entanglements, and rising tension over tasks and strategies are expected to test housemates further.
The week closed on a reflective note as host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the death of Ayotunde Elegbede, a crew member of the BBNaija production team, drawing an emotional response from both the house and fans.
Season 10, which premiered in late July with one of the largest lineups in the show’s history, continues to build momentum as the ₦150 million grand prize remains the ultimate goal.
