Globacom has inaugurated a new Gloworld retail outlet in Maiduguri, significantly expanding its presence in the northeast region of Nigeria. The newly opened facility aims to provide customers with a seamless and efficient service experience, featuring cutting-edge technology designed for quick service delivery and effective resolution of customer complaints.
Mr. Augustine Mamuro, the Regional Sales Coordinator for North East at Globacom, expressed that the opening of the outlet is part of the company’s commitment to enhancing customer convenience. He emphasized that this initiative aligns with Globacom’s strategy to bring services closer to the community, offering more opportunities for customers to access their products and services.
“Our approach to customer service is anchored in innovation and total inclusivity,” Mamuro stated. “This is why we are continuously exploring innovative channels to deliver our diverse services to our customers.”
The new outlet is staffed by well-trained, customer-friendly personnel and provides a variety of services, including SIM card replacement and registration, recovery of over-scratched cards, refilling, unblocking of phones, and laptop configurations for internet access. Additionally, customers will find an array of affordable devices, smartphones, and accessories available for purchase.
The opening ceremony was graced by special guest Alhaji Umar Umar Kadafur, the Deputy Governor of Borno State, who commended Globacom for its thoughtful decision to establish a new Gloworld outlet in the state, thereby bringing its products and services closer to the people of Borno.
