As Nigeria joins the world to mark Clean Energy Day on January 26, JMG Limited has highlighted its commitment to clean energy with a landmark achievement at its Lagos headquarters. The company’s 129-kilowatt hybrid solar system now provides up to 90% of the building’s energy needs, generating around 15.48 MWh of clean energy monthly and cutting diesel consumption by over 34,800 litres annually—saving the firm an estimated ₦40 million per year.

The installation, designed and executed by JMG Solar, integrates LONGi 575W solar panels, Deye high-efficiency hybrid inverters, and 122.9 kWh of lithium-ion battery storage. Beyond financial savings, the system eliminates more than 71 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, underscoring the environmental benefits of transitioning to renewable energy.

JMG, a leading provider of hybrid and integrated electromechanical solutions, operates specialized divisions across power generation, solar, cooling systems, elevators, electrical infrastructure, and industrial air solutions. Its diverse offerings aim to provide reliable, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions to homes, businesses, and industries.

During a visit to the Lagos headquarters, stakeholders and partners witnessed firsthand the operational and financial benefits of JMG’s solar deployment, highlighting the company’s leadership in implementing commercially viable clean energy solutions in Nigeria.

Rabi Jammal, Group General Manager of JMG Limited, said: “JMG is not just advocating clean energy—we are running on it. Our headquarters demonstrates that smart solar solutions can deliver immediate financial and environmental benefits for businesses in Nigeria.”

JMG continues to extend its sustainability efforts across sectors, providing energy-efficient lift systems, renewable power for healthcare facilities, smart air compressors for factories, and advanced cooling solutions for data centers. The company’s focus remains on combining high performance with environmental responsibility to drive economic growth and sustainable development.

Celebrating Clean Energy Day, Jammal added: “We are proud of our progress in advancing sustainability across Nigeria. JMG remains committed to reducing environmental impact while supporting economic development through innovative, cleaner energy solutions.”

With this milestone, JMG reinforces its long-term commitment to clean energy, operational efficiency, and a greener, more resilient Nigeria.
