MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has hosted undergraduate members of the Nigeria Economics Students Association (NESA) from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) for a career engagement programme aimed at preparing young professionals for the evolving workplace.
The immersive session provided students with firsthand exposure to career opportunities in cybersecurity, finance, internal audit and forensic investigations, while offering practical insights into the skills, knowledge and experience required to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
According to the company, the initiative forms part of its commitment to developing young talent and equipping students with industry-relevant knowledge before they enter the workforce.
MTN Nigeria said the programme also seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry experience by exposing students to real-world career pathways and professional expectations.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting youth development through initiatives that enhance employability, innovation and capacity building for the next generation of professionals.
