NNPC Retail Limited has sanctioned staff at one of its stations in Ikorodu, Lagos, following a viral video showing a pump attendant attempting to defraud a customer.
In a statement, the company described the conduct as “unacceptable” and contrary to its values of integrity, transparency, and quality customer service.
Following an investigation, NNPC Retail said it took the following actions in line with its sanction grid: the pump attendant was disengaged, the station manager suspended, and a formal warning letter issued to the dealer.
The company thanked members of the public for their vigilance and urged customers to report any misconduct via its customer service channels displayed at all stations. It assured that strict compliance with operational standards will continue to be enforced across its network.
