Nottingham Forest have completed the £22 million signing of Colombia right-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace.
Munoz has signed a three-year contract and will reunite with Forest manager Oliver Glasner, having previously worked with him at Palace.
The 29-year-old spent two and a half years at Selhurst Park, making 109 appearances and scoring 11 goals. He helped Palace win the FA Cup, Conference League and Community Shield in 2025.
Munoz, who has 51 international caps for Colombia, could make his Forest debut against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday.
“I’m really excited because I can see so much talent,” Munoz said. “Forest is a team with great players, great qualities and great skills on the pitch. I can’t wait to get out there so I can help my new team-mates.”
Forest chief football officer George Syrianos said Munoz had shown strong performances in both the Premier League and European competition.
“Daniel has performed strongly in the Premier League and in European competition, and we believe he has the mentality and ambition to make a significant contribution to the club,” Syrianos said.
Munoz becomes Forest’s latest major signing following the £50 million arrival of Liam Delap.
Forest drew 2-2 with Liverpool on Saturday after losing their opening two matches of the season in the Premier League and Carabao Cup against Leeds United.
